There are several resources available for position training.
- BSA has an extensive list of on-line required and optional training sessions at scouting.org.
- Printed materials are available at the local Scout Shops run by BSA Supply Division.
- Monthly District Roundtables provide position-specific discussions for activities based on monthly themes.
- Monthly Pack Planning Meetings provides an opportunity to discuss ideas and resources available in the Pack.
- Grand Canyon Council and Gila River District also provide various instructor-led training opportunities throughout the year.
Each Cub scout’s adult partner is required to complete Safe Environment Training through the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix and renew their training annually. Pack leaders must complete this training and an additional Youth Protection Training on my.scouting.org.
