A Blue and Gold banquet is a celebration of the Cub Scouting program, held each year in the spring. Our pack generally holds the Blue and Gold banquet in late March so that each Cub Scout has enough time to earn their rank and celebrate at the banquet.
The Boy Scouts of America were founded on February 8, 1910. The Cub Scouts were organized 20 years later in 1930. The Blue and Gold Banquet is one of the highlights of the program year. It is a family affair that brings Pack families together in a way that regular Pack Meetings don’t. It is an afternoon or evening of fun which involves more planning than the regular Pack Meeting.
This is a special event that requires an event committee to plan and execute. Please consider volunteering to make this event a memorable one.
