When the second-year Webelos (Arrow of Light) are ready to move into the Scouts BSA program, a Crossover ceremony will be held. This ceremony recognizes all their accomplishments in Cub Scouting, and their movement into a Scouts BSA Troop. Before the Crossover ceremony, the Webelos will receive his Arrow of Light rank, if earned. Representatives of their chosen Troop will be present to welcome them to their new phase of Scouting. This ceremony is typically held at our Blue and Gold banquet.
At the end of each Scout year, a Rank Advancement ceremony is held, typically at the last Pack meeting of the school year. This is when the Scouts advance to the next level of Cub Scouting. Lions will become Tigers. Tigers will become Wolves. Wolves will become Bears. Bears will become first-year Webelos. First-year Webelos will begin their second and final year in Cub Scouting. As your child moves up, they will remain in their current den with the same leaders and begin working on the next level rank requirements.
