Pack 71 has been chartered to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Tempe, AZ since 1957. Pack meetings are held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church from 6:30-7:30pm typically on the fourth Monday of the month during the school year.
We welcome boys and girls of all faiths from the southeast valley.
Pack 71 is a repeated recipient of the BSA Journey to Excellence (Quality Unit) Award. It has also received the BSA Summertime Pack Award for providing a 12-month program including at least 3 activities during the summer months. All unit leaders have completed BSA training, including Youth Protection Training and Safe Environment Training through the Diocese of Phoenix, and have earned their Trained patch.
The Pack has earned the National Catholic Committee on Scouting® Pope Paul VI Quality Unit Award 5 times.
